Thanks to everyone that has helped contribute to the growth of the show. We’ve come a long way in the year and a half that we have been in existence. There is a “life of it’s own” feeling to what is taking place and it has been an exciting ride. We are working on adding new features and reaching out to more of the creators that have helped shape the comic book industry in an effort to stay fresh with our offerings. We appreciate the support of the local comic collector community, the great dealers that bring in new and hard to find items, and folks like SCNS Live, The Nerd Show, and Mutant A Day for helping to promote the show. We also appreciate the comic shops that have allowed us to place our flyers in their stores. The show exists because of all of you and we appreciate your support!

We are still working on guests for the July show but we will be adding an additional room catering to the local artist. We will be offering attractive table rates to help the growth of our artist alley segment. This should bring us to just under 5,000 square feet of space dedicated to the comic community. We were also happy to have Lone Star Comics join us on a permanent basis to buy comics and comic collections. They will make a sizable investment at each show to accomplish this and it will be a great opportunity to turn your
comics into cash.

We started as a conversation between two collectors in July of 2011 with our first show in October of the same year. All but one of the original dealers is still with us. Our approach is to be a back to the basics style show that features 1 – 3 nationally known artists along with a plethora of comic books, comic collectibles, and local comic (book) artists. We are dedicated to keeping the entrance fees low and allowing kids under 12 in for free. The response has been overwhelmingly positive and word has spread. Our mission is to keep the show’s content relevant and the local pop culture enthusiast excited about our upcoming offerings. If you have not joined us in the past we hope that you will spend some time with us at one of our upcoming comic book events.

Access to the show for the collector should be affordable.

• The shows should be held in locations that are just a few minutes from both Dallas and Fort Worth to make it easy on comic book fans to get to the show.

• Offering a wide variety of comic books and comic collectibles is in the best interest of the show.

• That promoting a good show will build attendance and opportunities for dealers.

• That our commitment and roots in the community will help us to keep the show on track and relevant for the comic book community.

• The comic book event date and time should be reliable - We don't cancel shows.

• Comic books are an American tradition. Come out and celebrate the unique qualities that comic books and comic collectibles have to offer.
