Kit is one of MAD magazine's Usual Gang of Idiots, and has also contributed humor to National Lampoon, Playboy, SpongeBob Squarepants Comics and several syndicated newspaper strips. He divides his spare time between teaching the color blind how to play Twister and crafting life-size pimento-cheese sculptures of beloved favorites from the world of professional square-dancing.

Kit Lively
Tom Richmond attended Art College in St. Paul, MN and paid for his college education by drawing caricatures at Six Flags Great America during the summer. This led to a position managing the caricature operation for Fasen Arts at Six Flags Atlanta. He has been received several awards from the National Caricaturist Network and the National Cartoonists Society. Tom has worked for MAD Magazine and contributed to Cartoon Network’s MAD TV show. He has also worked for clients including AOL Digital, National Geographic For Kids, Cracked Magazine, and the Minnesota Twins. In 2012 he received the National Cartoonists Society Reuben Award for “Outstanding Cartoonist of the Year”. We are excited to have him join us in November.

Late night, after his parents took him to his first Opera, a young Garth Gerhart walked into a convenient store and witnessed a horrible crime. A man walked into the “10 Items or Less” line with what was clearly more than 10 ITEMS!!!! That night Garth vowed to become the Common Sense Crusader. The Passive-Aggressive Knight. He became BITTERMAN! Well, maybe it wasn't that dramatic, but Garth loved to draw funny pictures and write about things that pissed him off and most people liked what he had to say…including the "idiots" at MAD Magazine. In addition to his mad musings, Garth continues to explore humorous illustration ventures and is an accomplished designer at his own studio, GerhartInk.
